Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

New Beginnings

Early Thursday afternoon God brought a new life to Trinity Oaks Farm, and his name is Prophet.

Prophet is a Dartmoor pony colt, who is already spoiled WAY to much. :) Hey, don't judge us! Can you honestly tell me that you could resist that face? ;D ESPECIALLY when he comes up and plants his hairy mouth on your cheek?

Anyways, sorry it's taken this long to get a blog post out of me, we have just been very busy around here. Summer is definitely in full bloom on the farm, and we are enjoying every second of it! :)

4th out of 16...Not bad.

Bonjour!

Well, I definitely didn't come home with a blue ribbon, but I did come home with a white one. :) After not being able to ride as hard as I would like to since October (thanks to my injury), and my horse having been sore all week, we were more than pleased to bring home 4th place out of 16 overall competitors (in my class). The pictures below show how focused I was.......hence the not smiling. Lol. The Lord has truly blessed me with an amazing horse, and I am so glad the He has allowed me to ride and school in this discipline, while (hopefully) showing people in this field a more godly way to ride horses. :)

The Smell of Clean Leather and Horse Hair

Hello Friends!

Yes, I am aware that I haven't written anything overly important in the last two weeks, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of creative ideas. This past week has been jam packed because I leave for a dressage show tomorrow afternoon and won't be back until late Saturday afternoon. Ride, ride, ride, clean tack, ride, clean tack, ride. You get my drift.

But, I do need some prayer. One. My horse, Ellie, had an abscess in her foot that popped the other day, which has caused her to be a little sore. She was a lot better this morning, and should be fine by tomorrow and Saturday, but still, the extra prayer would be greatly appreciated. Two. MY NERVES! I am SO nervous! I try not to get to competetive, but I still feel the pressure. I want to be a shining light for Christ, not an ultra-competetive horse woman ;)

If anything exciting happens Saturday, I will be sure and blog about it!

Love to you all!
