5 things i'm absolutely loving this week

Toms shoes: With every pair you purchase, Toms gives a pair to a child in need. :] My Toms are my most worn shoes.

Kombucha. My dad said that God invented peanut butter for him, well, if that's the case, He invented Kombucha for me.

I know, I'm getting to old for banners. But who wouldn't love this? Great way to use up leftover fabric scraps. You can find a tutorial here.

RUFFLY SWEATERS. *hinthint* *momiwantthisformybirthdayprettyplease?*

Anna Maria Horner fabric. Love, Love, Love. Good thing I'm broke, or I would be up to my eyes in sewing projects.
...Oh wait, I am up to my eyes in sewing projects. Silly me.
Blessings to you and yours!
Laura

those look nice :) Do they have good padding?

Btw, I think of you every time I hear the song "your hands". I love it. Hope all is going well for you.

Erika,
The Toms have great padding. So, so comfortable.

Aww! I'm so glad that I'm being thought of! Haha, btw, I was wanting to do something along the lines of 'a day in the life of a reader' and I was wondering if I could interview you for it?

Hey, Laura Lee! Love the shoes, the fabric's lovely, the banner is so very shabby chic, and the sweater is so gorgeous-ly feminine. But kombucha??? Blech! I drove to a friend's house about 40 minutes away to pick up a SCOBY baby to make my own Kombucha. Hubby was the only one brave enough to drink it each day. Too vinegar-y for me! I'm sure the ones in the health food store are better than what I brewed up in my kitchen cupboard though. Enjoy!
Blessings,
Lisa
P.S. You know I'm only joking with you! :)

Hahahaha, Lisa. You are sooo funny. The stuff that my mom makes tastes like sparkling cider. Ew, nonono, it does NOT taste like vinegar. Lol.
Yep, the banner is verrryyy shabby chic! Haha, I guess I'm just a shabby chic kinda girl. :]

We used to make kombucha, it does get a little like vinegar if you let it go too long... It is pretty good stuff though; I'm kind of thinking I should make some again... (and those shoes are so very cute; I'll have to look into some of those... :)

Kate,
